If you want to buy an old Ferguson, be prepared for problems with the rotor. At our enterprise, we had machines from the 90s, and some of them have a selective defect in this unit. Overall, the combine is not bad, and repairs for the old ones are inexpensive. You can use spare parts from domestic equipment on them.

Serious machinery that every farmer in Ukraine dreams of. Quick auger, unloads faster than Akros, which I really liked.

I worked with these machines in 2000, the equipment was excellent, it went through the field like an F1 car. In general, these Case combines from the late 90s are still in operation, they were made very well back then. They are better than any other drum combines. The machine is a beast when it comes to corn, soybeans, and sunflowers. It worked extremely efficiently. As far as I know, they worked for about 10 years without any issues, just regular maintenance like lubrication. I tried working with a Don or Niva next to them, I don't really remember, but it was so funny to watch. The Niva was smoking in one place, while the Case was zooming like an F1 race car, you couldn't catch up with it.

My Claas Lexion 460 combine harvester has been in use for 13 years. There are no complaints - the machine works like new. The quality of threshing is top-notch. Fuel consumption is economical. There have been minor malfunctions, but armed with information from the Internet, we easily fixed them. If there is a significant breakdown, we will have to order factory parts. Fortunately, we haven't encountered anything like that so far.

Our farm purchased a John Deere 9640 combine half a year ago. The machine has become a reliable helper in harvesting work, but it seems that its advantages are overestimated. The abundance of automation is impressive, but it does not affect the equipment's productivity, but only becomes the reason for its unaffordable cost. We realized our mistake, it would have been much cheaper and without compromising the quality to purchase a CASE IH combine.

I will tell you about the use of the CS6090 combine harvester. It effectively harvests tons of sunflower and wheat without any disruptions or breakdowns. The machine is equipped with advanced electronics. In addition, it has an enlarged hopper compared to the 2008 model.

We have 2 of these combines on our farm. Both have good technical specifications. After purchase, we had to repair a hose on one machine, but there have been no other issues so far. Furthermore, the machines have successfully paid for themselves in 4 years.

We have 2 John Deere T660 combines working at our enterprise as we expanded our sowing areas. Both machines demonstrate high productivity. Each of them has worked approximately 3000-3500 engine hours. Spare parts and consumables are easily accessible. As for nuances, high requirements for fuel and oils quality can be mentioned. If this is ignored and the machine is fueled with questionable quality fuel, the hydraulic system will fail.

Recently, we purchased the John Deere 2264 combine. In the first week, we encountered a problem with the thresher - it stopped starting. However, the other systems work flawlessly. We contacted the service center and they resolved the issue, but the repair was costly. Trying to fix the machine on our own is nearly impossible, as there are no reliable guides or websites for John Deere repairs in Russian.

I bought the John Deere 9760 STS combine harvester after the equipment rental company raised the price by more than 25%. The combine harvester gradually pays off, although I paid a large sum for it. I have been operating the machine for two harvesting seasons without any downtime. There were no serious breakdowns. As for the disadvantages, although they do not concern the characteristics of the combine harvester, I can highlight the expensive service.
