When using the Holaras topping machines, the haulm is not pulled off, but cut of by fast rotating blades. This avoids damage because the blades do not touch the onions. Seed onions, picklers, medium and ware-onions, shallots, are topped without difficulty by the Holaras topper without being damaged. It is important to use a sieve which is suitable for each kind of onion. Regular supply is wanted. One can achieve this by using a hopper.

Bei der Holaras Zwiebelentköpfmachinen wird das laub nicht abgezogen, sondern einwandfrei abgeschitten von schnell rotierenden messern. Keine Beschädigung, dadurch das die messer die Zwiebeln nicht betätigen.
Durch spezielle Vibrations-Elektromotoren werden die Zwiebeln fast schwebend über die Vibrationssiebe geführt, dies gewährleistet die schonendste Behandlung. Die auswechselbare Vibrationssieben sind auf wunsch lieferbar, je nach Zwiebelgroße, wie Pickel, Saat-, Plantz-, Mittel- oder Grobzwiebeln. Die Maschine ist auch fur Schalotten geeignet. Verwendung eines für jeder Große geeignetes Sieb ist notwendig.
Eine regelmäßige zufuhr is ebenfalls notwendig, dies ist zu erreichen durch ein Dosierbunker oder Vorsortierer.

Deze uienafstaartmachine met 3 mes is speciaal ontworpen voor het ontstaarten (afstaarten) van uien en bloembollen. Bij de mesuienafstaartmachines wordt het loof (de staarten) er niet afgetrokken, maar door snel draaiende messen afgesneden. Speciale trilmotoren brengen met een gericht aantal trillingen de trilzeven in beweging. De uien worden als het ware zwevend boven de (tril) zeven getransporteerd. Door het hoge toerental en de speciale vorm van de messen ontstaat een sterke luchtstroom. Daardoor worden de uienstaarten tussen de spijlen van de trilzeef gezogen en door scherpe messen net onder de zeef afgesneden.
De trilzeven zijn eenvoudig te verwisselen. De trilzeven zijn verkrijgbaar voor bijna alle soorten en maten uien en sjalotten. Van zaaiuien tot sjalotten worden zonder problemen door de Holaras afgestaart zonder dat ze de uien beschadigen.
Een regelmatige aanvoer is gewenst. Dit kan men bereiken door gebruik te maken van een doserbunker of voorsorteerder.
